1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PageScore AI at www.page-score.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PageScore AI provides website auditing tools that analyze web pages for SEO performance, AI answer-engine optimization (AEO), schema markup, technical performance, and content quality. Audit results are informational only and do not constitute professional SEO, legal, or technical consulting advice. Results reflect conditions at the time of the audit and may change as your website or external factors change.

3. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@page-score.com of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

PageScore AI offers the following subscription tiers:

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
• All fees are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit URLs you do not own or have permission to audit
• Attempt to overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Circumvent rate limits, plan restrictions, or authentication mechanisms
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Submit URLs containing malware, phishing content, or illegal material

We reserve the right to suspend access immediately for violations without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, and content, is owned by PageScore AI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the URLs and content you submit for auditing. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely to provide you with audit results. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe, Supabase, Google, Anthropic, and Vercel. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AUDIT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PAGESCORE AI AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PageScore AI and its owners, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our sole discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

For any dispute under $10,000, either party may elect binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Class action and jury trial rights are waived to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
