3. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you — when you create an account, submit URLs for auditing, or contact us.
- Automatically — server logs, cookies, and similar technologies when you use the Service.
- From third parties — Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (authentication and data storage), Google PageSpeed Insights (performance data for URLs you submit), and Anthropic (AI analysis of page content).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Store and display your audit history
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- Monitor usage to enforce plan limits
- Improve and develop new features

5. Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers who process it on our behalf under written agreements:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting
- Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's own privacy policy)
- Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery
- Anthropic — AI content analysis (URLs and page content you submit)
- Google — PageSpeed Insights API (URLs you submit)
- Upstash — rate limiting (IP address and request metadata)
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PageScore AI or others.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use session cookies set by Supabase to maintain your authenticated session. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function and are stored as httpOnly cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account information and audit history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records, which are retained for 7 years per tax regulations). Individual audit records can be deleted by you at any time from your dashboard.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:
- Right to Know — You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our business purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, httpOnly session cookies, and role-based access controls in our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
